This blog is written by Chad Carrier, a US citizen moving abroad to work and live in Berlin, Germany. Chad is a musician originally trained on percussion who has also taken a liking to synthesizers, samplers, and digital production. Having worked over 7 years for M-Audio / Avid, he is now taking the position of Senior Concept Developer in the DJ division at Native Instruments. Chad knows no German…yet. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your first entry. It almost feels like I’m in your head reading about your transition. I felt a bit bittersweet along with complete excitement.
